Nominations

[edit]
Next two project articles to be selected on 10 April. Ten nominations are voted on each week, please put overflow nominations under Pending.
Reason
Article needs much improvement.
Reason
It doesn't seem to be a very detailed article, especially since it's about a country. There are also some parts of the page that need cleaning up like the pictures of the houses at the bottom of the page.
Reason
A very important arts topic with a rather poor entry. I suggested on the talk page that the section on the theater buildings should have its own entry, but as of yet, no one has responded. Ganymead 22:37, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Reason
A lot of people are interested in magic. Yet this article fails to give a comprehensive view of the art's history. It also has no real bearing with a whole bunch of unrelated sections in a non-logical order. It needs loads of help. More than I can give on my own.

This is Samuel Johnson's famous work, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of its publication on April 15. The article is okay, but nowhere near Featured Article status.

  • I nominated this for COTW but some people felt it would be more appropriate here. Cormaggio 07:12, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It's such an important financial district of New York, with the NYSE and the NASDAQ, yet 350 words is all it gets?

Why does the second-largest city in Washington have an article that is only a fifth as long as Seattle's?

Leader of one of the most important countries in the world, and he's quite controversial, especially his alleged crackdown on freedom of speech, claims that he's an autocrat, etc. The article has way too little about his actions as President, his perception in Russia, criticism about him.

  • I also wish to add in this article about his pre-Presidential era, including some of his time in the KGB. Zscout370 14:09, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The article is very much incomplete. Seemingly focused on Giantesses then any other form of giant. Needs expansion and clean-up.
