Merge and redirect to The Praise of Folly. It is part of the 'Madmess and Civilization' essay by Foucault which discusses the themes of madness during the Renaissance. It shows the the "hierarchy of vices" in the shape of the 'wicked soldiers of the psychomachy' who manifest themselves as "twelve dualities that dispute the sovereignty of the human soul".
