Source |
Photo published in 1897 - no copyright. ; Note: This image was on an ancient postcard among a number of papers I inherited from my father, Dr. Alfred Edward ("Ted") Hill after his death in 2004. The old postcard simply has "Carib Indian Orinoco River 1890s" printed on the reverse. There is no other information with it. I think (but am not certain) it be can therefore be considered copyright free. I own the postcard and am happy to have it used on the Wikipedia or anywhere else.
