Could this page not be combined with the diamond page? Being a stub, and almost a dictionary definition in itself, I would suggest it be added to the industrial grade section where it is referenced. --Blazingwarri (talk) 17:24, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A show on the Discovery channel reports that bort is a side product of gem cutting, namely the chips cut off of gem diamonds. Is that ever true? Colin McLarty (talk) 15:48, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
