Untitled
[edit]Just for the record: The founder of Banco Popular was Richard Carrion's GRANDFATHER, Rafael Carrion-Pacheco. Also, Richard is Camille Carrion's COUSIN, not her brother.
No longer President
[edit]The current president of Banco Popular is David H. Chafey, Jr. (at least in Puerto Rico, per BPPR Puerto Rico Spanish-language web page); he has been president since 2004. The article itself refers to Carrion's presidency in the past tense ("when he was president"). Richard Carrion continues to be the CEO. This is also consistent with what appears on the Popular, Inc. page. Please correct or verify if you find different information.--Lawrlafo (talk) 22:09, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
