AlbumboxStart
[edit]I've temporarily replaced the {{AlbumboxStart}} message in the album box as it's stopped working since the update to MediaWiki 1.3. See bug report 963647 on Sourceforge. --Lancevortex 17:25, 12 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Specials uk front.jpg
[edit]Image:Specials uk front.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Gangsters
[edit]I removed the following information from the article:
- The band's first single, "Gangsters," is not only a reworking of Prince Buster's "Al Capone", but also "samples" the car sound effects that opened the original song. "One Step Beyond", the B-side to "Al Capone" on Prince Buster's 1964 Blue Beat single would also prove a ska revival hit for the Specials' contemporaries, Madness.
- "Gangsters" was featured in the movie SLC Punk and "Too Hot" was on the movie's soundtrack.
- "Gangsters" was also featured in the movie "Mystery Men".
The song "Gangsters" was a single and is not included on this album. If someone would like to integrate this information elsewhere, please feel free to, but it does not belong here. Glassbreaker5791 (talk) 02:35, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- True, it wasn't on the original LP, but it is on the CD reissue of 2002…but it's only the promo video not an audio track. I'm not too bothered either way if it's in or out.
- Sorry, forgot to sign the above comment. Grievous Angel (talk) 09:41, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Pagename
[edit]Shouldn't the pagename be just "Specials"? 2A00:23C8:4F2B:EA00:6574:4F97:B70A:5AEF (talk) 22:56, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
