Can we change this category to Category:Ancient Rome military topics? Because i see here lots of things which are not technologiies like [[circumvallation (a tactic), pillum (a weapon, ok here), Principes (a kind of soldier), etc. Muriel G 17:21, 30 Jun 2004 (UTC)

This category has become far too general. I have created a new category: "Ancient Roman Legionary Equipment" as a sub-category of "Ancient Roman military technology". I intend to further expand "Ancient Roman Legionary Equipment" - all are invited to help...

Meanwhile, I suggest that "Ancient Roman military technology" might benifit from further sub-categories so that it looks less like a catch-all for everything related to the roman army. Gaius Cornelius 09:38, 14 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
