Hi there! It has been drawn to my attention that you have made a verbatim copy of the text of my user page. Now, I know that imitation is said to be the highest form of flattery, and if you want to copy my formatting (tables, layout, etc.) you're more than welcome. I draw the line at the copying of my text, however, as it amounts to misrepresentation. This is no joke. Identity theft is a serious matter. The fact that you claim (a) to have written many of the Fiji-related articles, (b) to be an administrator, and (c) TO BE ME, gives me cause, in my opinion, to delete your user page. I would let you away with (a) and (b), but I will not tolerate another user claiming to be ME. Neither would you, if anybody used your identity this way. A couple of mouse clicks and your user page is nuked. You're welcome to make a new one - and you're welcome to copy any of my layout styles of they appeal to you. But do not claim to be somebody you're not. Thank you.

By the way, I've locked both your user page and your talk page from further editing until you explain your actions to me (on my talk page). David Cannon (administrator) 03:45, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • He also needs to explain this. Nineteen minutes after copying an administrator's user page, making it appear as if he were that administrator, he makes a nonsensical edit to another user's talk page, ending with "Watch yourself or You will be blocked." That warning was given while he was impersonating an administrator. Disruptive activity, to say the least. SWAdair | Talk 11:46, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
  • Blocked infinitely. User clearly declared at User talk:RickK that he/she/it will continue to vandalize Wikipedia. jni 14:08, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
  • I support Jni's decision. This user has posted a highly offensive comment on my talk page claiming (a) that an administrator told him to copy my user page, and (b) making a personal attack on User:RickK. Good riddance. David Cannon 20:43, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
